* Former police constable Ziyaad Domingo (22) - who went on a spending spree using a credit card belonging to a man who died in a motorcycle accident - has been found guilty in the Port Elizabeth Regional Court. Domingo pleaded guilty to stealing a credit card and fraud, relating to purchases made with the card. Domingo, who is out on R1 000 bail, will know his fate on 29 March. -The Herald (subscription needed)
* Five suspects arrested in connection with defrauding Wesbank were granted bail in the Durban Commercial Crimes Court, the Hawks said. Meanwhile, another suspect was arrested and is also expected to appear in the same court on a charge of fraud. - The Times
