Job Description:

The successful applicant will join Juta Law’s Information Systems team in developing digital products in multiple formats for the legal information industry.

Key performance areas:

• Digital Product Development

• Publication styling

• Data preparation for publishing purposes

• Drafting of specifications

• Research, development and implementation of projects

Competencies:

• 3 to 5 years styling experience in Microsoft Word

• 3 to 5 years styling experience in HyperText Markup Language (HTML and CSS)

• Previous experience of creating, modifying and correcting OCR errors in PDF files would be advantageous

• A tertiary qualification in Publishing would be advantageous

• Knowledge of Folio Views, NXT or other digital publishing platforms would be advantageous

• Knowledge of ebook (ePub) development would be advantageous

• Previous knowledge of a typesetting environment would be advantageous

• Digital product development knowledge in a publishing environment would be advantageous
