* Vusi Dlakude, the husband of the ANC Deputy Chief Whip Doris Dlakude, has appeared in the Nkomazi Magistrate's Court on a charge of perjury. Dlakude allegedly called his parliamentarian wife, claiming he had been hijacked. Further investigation, however, revealed that he may have faked the hijacking.
