Rare pangolin saved from being trafficked

* Police in North West have recovered a rare male African pangolin that was allegedly stolen from the Rampampa Mountains‚ just outside Mabeeskraal in Mogwase, last week. Police said the pangolin was allegedly stolen and brought to Rustenburg on Wednesday. The two suspects‚ Surprise Moyani Nkomezulu and Tlhobogang Daniel Mantsho‚ appeared in the Rustenburg Magistrate’s Court on Friday. They were released on R2 500 bail each and will appear in the same court again on 31 August.
