Burkina Faso's High Court of Justice has postponed the trial of 34 Ministers of former President Blaise Compaore’s government, pending corrections to the prosecution's submissions. A report on the Africa News site notes that the suspects have been charged with repressing the October 2014 revolt which saw Compaore overthrown. Established in 1995 by the Compaore regime, the court only began operating in April 2015. It is the only court in the country that is empowered to try high-profile politicians.
