South African murdered in Mauritius

The body of a 32-year-old South African was found half naked in Grand-Baie Mauritius, Mauritian police confirmed last week. Legalbrief reports that Lara Rijs (32) had a Swiss and South African passport. It is believed she was also raped. A security guard who was employed at her complex has been arrested for her murder. A report on the eNCA site notes that Rijs was employed by the Geneva Management Group.
