Prophet in the dock for possessing human skull

A Nigerian prophet has appeared in a magistrate's court in Ibadan charged with possessing a human skull ‘and other fetish items’. Prosecutor Sunday Ogunremi said Alimi Isaiah was detained on 5 May in the Ibadan Magisterial District. Vanguard reports that the suspect claims he recovered the skull from a construction site in Lagos and ‘I knew it would be useful’. Magistrate Abiola Richard granted him $250 bail and adjourned the case to 28 June.
