Police investigate Gaborone murder

A Botswana man is in custody while police investigate claims that he killed his cousin. Thato Tsametse (29) is accused of murdering his 16-year-old cousin, Arnold Ofentse in Mogoditshane on 3 March. Mmegi reports that the teenager lived with the mother of the accused, Agnes Ofentse, who found his body under a Morula tree in Gaborone. Police are investigating claims that Tsametse planned to cash in the deceased’s insurance policy.
