* Zimbabwean opposition parties have reportedly accused President Robert Mugabe of ‘running the country from a hospital bed’ after he again left the country for health reasons. MDC spokesperson Obert Gutu said Mugabe's retirement was long overdue. Mugabe's medical trips to Singapore have become more frequent in recent years. His previous visit was in May and it was also said to be for a ‘routine medical check-up’. In 2011 and 2014 he had eye surgery in a hospital in the Southeast Asian country.
