Missing activist’s brother petitions Mnangagwa

Zimbabwean activist Patson Dzamara has urged President Emmerson Mnangagwa to launch a thorough investigation into his brother Itai Dzamara's disappearance nearly three years ago. Itai went missing on 9 March, 2015, after staging lone protests in Harare calling on former President Robert Mugabe to step down. In his latest attempt to find justice, Dzamara has petitioned Mnangagwa to launch an ‘urgent’ and ‘sincere’ investigation into the matter. A report on the News24 site notes that Dzamara maintained that his family was still convinced that state security agents were involved in his brother’s disappearance.
