Liberia's House of Representatives has used its powers to send a Minister to jail for two days after he was involved in a scuffle with two other lawmakers. BBC News reports that Deputy Information Minister Eugene Fahngon was handcuffed and taken to the Monrovia Central Prison after he refused an invitation from the House to explain the incident. It remains to be seen whether President George Weah will suspend Fahngon.
