A Liberian lawmaker was arrested last week in Monrovia's Capital Building on charges of allegedly raping and impregnating his 13-year-old niece. The incident reportedly took place in Grand Gedeh County in early May. A report on the allAfrica site notes that Representative Morias Waylee is also accused of 'criminal conspiracy, tampering with a criminal investigation and tampering with witnesses'. New Dawn reports that Inspector General Gregory Coleman told reporters the alleged victim has gone into hiding and cannot be located.
