Presidential candidate Raila Odinga has dismissed calls for his arrest over remarks he allegedly made, accusing the government of ‘messing up’ land ownership laws. A report on the allAfrica site notes that he said his National Super Alliance party will implement the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission report and the National Land Policy to resolve historical land injustices. He added that 'scaremongering is the only campaign tool they (the government) are left with'. Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery has confirmed that Odinga is under investigation for the alleged remarks.
