Musicians accused of hate speech

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) wants two musicians arrested over a Kikuyu song allegedly insulting members of the Kamba community and inciting violence. BBC News reporst that KFCB chairperson Ezekiel Mutua said the song titled Ikamba by Isaiah and Waharaka mocks the Kamba community and castigates Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu. The controversial song addresses the ban on charcoal trading which led to riots in the region.
