Migori Governor Okoth Obado will undergo DNA tests as part of the investigation into the murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno. Police spokesperson George Kinoti reportedly told Capital FM that this is part of the probe to determine if he was, in any way, connected to last week’s murder. This after journalist Barrack Oduor told police he and Otieno were abducted by Obado's personal assistant who is also in police custody. The Daily Nation reports that an autopsy revealed that the 26-year-old student died of excessive bleeding. Government pathologist Johansen Oduor said there were strangulation marks on her neck and several bruises on her body.
