A Kenyan security and administration chief, who was fired soon after the terror attack at the Garissa University which claimed 148 lives, has approached the courts to get his job back. A report on the allAfrica site notes that Musa Yego, one of nine security and administrative officers from the region who were removed from office for failing to prevent the 2 April 2015 incident, has sued the National Police Service Commission and the Inspector-General of Police. Yego, who was in the service since 1981, denies any responsibility.
