The Monitor reports that Kampala’s Mayor Charles Sserunjogi said ‘we are committed to sensitise the public about the dangers of smoking and to create more awareness about the act’. A toll-free line will enable members of the public to report cases smoking violations in public places. Violators will face heavy fines and/or imprisonment.
