Mozambique's former Justice Minister Abdul de Almeida has been sentenced to two years in jail for the misappropriation of public funds. BBC News reports that Justice Joao Guilherme said the sentence was meant to deter the improper use of public funds, which is becoming endemic in Mozambique.
