Fake secret agent convicted

A Zimbabwean man who posed as a secret agent while security officials were holding a briefing before President Robert Mugabe's recent rally in Mutare has been convicted. New Zimbabwe reports that Elmos Sigelagelani pleaded guilty to criminal nuisance charges after he masqueraded as a Central Intelligent Organisation agent on 15 June at the Sakubva stadium. Magistrate Lazarus Murendo sentenced the convicted Sigelagelani to two months in jail but also gave him the option of paying a $200 fine.
