Death sentence upheld for soldier

Somali's National Army Court has upheld the death sentence for Major Abdinassir Hosh who was convicted of killing the deputy commander of the Somali Navy. BBC News reports that Said Adan Yussuf was shot and killed in Mogadishu in January. The following month he was sentenced to death by firing squad for the crime.
