Cairo court jails five more Brotherhood members

An Egyptian court has sentenced five people, including the head of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood group, to life in prison on charges related to inciting violence and supporting militants. A report on the Times of Israel site notes that the Cairo Criminal Court convicted Mohammed Badie and four others of providing weapons, ammunition and explosive devices to Islamic militants. The sentences are not subject to appeal.
