Bulawayo beneficiaries of youth fund 'missing'

MPs on a fact-finding visit to Bulawayo have failed to locate most beneficiaries of the $40m Youth Development Fund. The Herald reports that the recipients who received the funds had either left their homes or provided false addresses. The Portfolio Committee on Youth Development, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment, chaired by Gokwe Nembudziya legislator, Mayor Wadyajena, conducted the tour following allegations of graft relating to the fund. The committee's trip was sponsored by the Southern African Parliamentary Trust.
