Deutsche Welle says allegations of sexual harassment against one of its former employees in Cairo have proven to be credible. The German broadcaster said Egyptian-British television presenter Yosri Fouda, who is a critic of President Abdel-Fatah al-Sisi's government, no longer works for the company. A report on the News24 site notes that spokesperson Christoph Jumpelt added that he could not reveal further details ‘for legal reasons’. Fouda has denied the claims.
