Broadcaster axes presenter over sexual harassment case

Deutsche Welle says allegations of sexual harassment against one of its former employees in Cairo have proven to be credible. The German broadcaster said Egyptian-British television presenter Yosri Fouda, who is a critic of President Abdel-Fatah al-Sisi's government, no longer works for the company. A report on the News24 site notes that spokesperson Christoph Jumpelt added that he could not reveal further details ‘for legal reasons’. Fouda has denied the claims.
