An alleged drug baron has been deported from Madagascar to Kenya over links to the international drug trade. Kenyan Bilali Kimali is suspected to be behind the $275 000 heroin stash that was seized on a luxury yacht in Mombasa in 2015. The Star reports that five suspects were arrested and the yacht was confiscated (and later destroyed). However, Kimali managed to escape. Police spokesperson Hamis Massa said Kimali will be questioned in Nairobi and then transferred to Mombasa where he will be charged. ‘You can run but you can't hide. The state has good machinery. More suspects are involved in this case,’ he said.
