Ghana television channels accused of showing porn

Ghana's broadcasting watchdog is looking into whether television channels have breached regulations by broadcasting pornography. This after several free-to-air channels were accused of broadcasting adult content during the late-night slots. BBC News reports that two radio personalities have lodged a complaint with the National Media Commission saying the channels broke broadcasting guidelines. George Sarpong, executive secretary of the regulatory body, said there is ‘no specific law’ banning the broadcasting of pornography.
